What monthly maintenance includes
WordPress, theme and plugin updates
Security updates applied within 48 hours of release. Tested before being applied to the live site — never a direct update that could break your website.
Automated, verified backups
Daily or weekly backup of the database and files, stored off-site. A monthly check that the backups can actually be restored.
Uptime monitoring
Automatic alert within 1 minute if the website goes down. Monthly uptime report (target: 99.9%).
Monthly health report
The report covers: current PageSpeed score, updated plugins, issues found in Google Search Console, and recommendations for the next month.
Technical support
1-2 hours of support included every month for minor changes (text, images, small layout tweaks). Larger changes are billed separately at the hourly rate.

Changes larger than the hours included in the plan are billed separately, with the price agreed in advance. For any website we built, the first 3 months after launch are covered at no cost.
Keeping your website secure
Most compromised websites aren’t the target of a specific attack; they have an outdated plugin with a known vulnerability. That’s why security starts with maintenance and continues with a few technical protections:
SSL certificate and HTTPS
Encrypts communication between the site and its visitors. Mandatory for any site that collects data (forms, orders). Included with every reputable hosting provider.
Regular WordPress, theme and plugin updates
The most common cause of hacks: outdated software with known vulnerabilities. Every month, we update WordPress core, all themes and all active plugins.
Web application firewall (WAF)
Filters malicious traffic before it reaches your site. Blocks SQL injection, XSS, brute-force and other attacks.
Automatic backups
Daily or weekly backups of the entire database and all site files, stored off-site (not on the same server). If something goes wrong, the site is restored in hours, not days.
Uptime monitoring
Automatic SMS and email alerts if your site goes down. Average time to detect downtime: 1 minute (versus hours without monitoring).
One-off services:
setting up basic security (SSL, firewall, backups, WordPress hardening) costs 150 EUR, one time. Cleaning up a website that is already compromised costs 200-400 EUR, depending on how widespread the infection is; in that case, call us directly, because every hour the site serves malicious code matters.
Moving to another host, platform or domain
Moving a website is one of the operations where Google traffic is lost most easily: an address changed without a redirect is a page Google starts over from scratch. Before any move we list the URLs that have traffic and external links, prepare the 301 redirects and check them after launch, one by one. That’s how we moved projectmedia.ro itself from WordPress to the current site in September 2026: 139 redirects, tested before upload.
Migration between platforms
From Joomla, Drupal, Magento or a custom site to WordPress or Shopify. Content, database and media transfer. 301 redirects for every URL that changes.
Migration between hosting providers
Files and database transferred from one server to another, with minimal downtime (normally under 1 hour).
Domain change
From your old domain to the new one, with site-wide 301 redirects, Google Search Console updates and monitoring of the ranking impact.
HTTP to HTTPS migration
Installing the SSL certificate and moving every URL from HTTP to HTTPS with the correct redirects.

What happens if the website breaks during a covered month?

How long does a migration take?
Hosting migration: 1-2 days. Platform migration: 1-3 weeks (depending on the volume of content).
Will the website be offline during the migration?
Minimal downtime. We work on a staging server and make the switch in 1-2 hours at most. Contact us for a specific plan.
My WordPress site was hacked. What should I do?

How often do you run backups?
In our maintenance plans, backups run daily for frequently updated sites and weekly for static ones.
