Professional Website Development
Launch in 2-4 Weeks After We Receive Your Materials — Custom Design and SEO Included

Building a professional website is an essential step for any business that wants a clear, consistent, and credible online presence. At ProjectMedia, every website project starts from the business's real goals and from how the site will actually be used in practice, not just how it will look.

A well-built website means more than a nice design. It means the right structure, logically organized content, and features tailored to the type of business. Whether it's a business just starting out, an established service company, or an online store, the website development process has to account for clarity, ease of use, and long-term adaptability.

We work with clients all over Romania and have delivered more than 400 web projects. Every website we build is custom, with no rigid templates and no one-size-fits-all solutions.

Types of websites we build

Depending on your goals and how you want to present your business, we build several types of professional websites, each with a clearly defined role.

Presentation website

A presentation website is ideal for businesses that want to clearly communicate who they are, what services they offer, and how to reach them. This type of site focuses on image, messaging, and structuring information so it's easy to browse. Full details on the presentation website development page.

Business website

Business websites are built for companies that need a more complex structure, with more pages, dedicated sections, and a detailed presentation of their services or products. They are designed for clarity, organization, and scalability. Learn more about business website development.

Online store

For businesses that sell products online, we build online stores with clear structures that are easy to manage and tailored to specific sales needs. The focus is on intuitive navigation and a smooth user experience. Learn more about online store development.

How to choose your platform: WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, or custom code

There's no best platform in general, only the right one for your project. Below is a quick look at when each one fits and when it doesn't.

PlatformWhen it's a fitWhen it's not a fit
WordPressPresentation website, business website with a blog, WooCommerce store, content-heavy site. Low recurring cost and a large ecosystem of extensions. You need a complex web application. Or there's no one to handle updates — an unmaintained WordPress site becomes slow and vulnerable.
ShopifyYou sell online and have no in-house technical resources. Hosting and updates are included, with a predictable monthly cost. You also sell internationally. You have a complex catalog or special integrations. Local couriers and payment processors — FanCourier, DPD, Cargus, Netopia, EuPlatesc — require extra setup.
WebflowDesign and animations are your main selling point. You want speed and no plugins to update. You need lots of integrations or a large catalog. Migrating to WordPress later means a complete redesign.
Custom codeBooking platform, marketplace, web app, custom CRM. Business logic that doesn't fit into a CMS.Presentation website, blog, or standard online store. Custom code requires a bigger budget, a longer timeline, and specialized maintenance.

A detailed look at what each option costs and where it runs into trouble: the real costs of a WordPress site, what a Shopify store involves, and when Webflow is worth it.

How we approach the website development process

Our process is designed to be clear, transparent, and easy for the client to understand, from the first conversation to the final launch.

1. Analysis.

It all starts with a conversation about your business, your target audience, and the goals of the website. Getting these right is essential to building a site that works in real life, not just on paper.

2. Structure.

We define the pages needed, their order, and how the information is presented. This stage is crucial to the clarity of the finished site.

3. Design.

It is designed around your business's visual identity and the specifics of your industry. We focus on readability, visual consistency, and a pleasant user experience.

4. Build and launch.

The design is turned into a working website, optimized for every type of device and carefully tested. We launch only after everything has been checked and is ready to go.

Delivery takes 2-4 weeks for a presentation website or business website and 4-6 weeks for an online store, counted from when we receive your materials. What we need from you is listed below.

What you need to prepare before we start

The timeline starts on the day we have the materials, not the day the contract is signed. What we need:

  • Copy — the raw information about your services, prices, team, and terms. We write the pages included in the package; anything beyond the package's page count is billed separately.
  • Images — product, team, and project photos. Photography isn't included in the price. If you don't have your own photos, we agree up front whether we'll use stock images or you'll book a photo shoot.
  • Logo and visual identity — a vector logo, plus your brand colors and fonts, if you have them. If you don't, that's a separate project, one we discuss before we start, not midway through.
  • Domain access — login details for the registrar or your current hosting account. If you don't know who owns the domain, we'll check together before we start.
  • Company details — full legal name, CUI (tax ID), registered office, and contact details, for the legal pages.

While we wait for content or feedback from you, the clock stops and picks up where it left off. Projects that run late almost always get stuck here, not in the build.

What you actually get with our website development service

You get a complete solution, designed for real-world use and long-term growth. Every website built by ProjectMedia includes:

  • clear, easy-to-navigate structure
  • design tailored to your visual identity
  • logically organized pages
  • features tailored to your type of business
  • compatibility with all devices
  • basic SEO optimization included from day one

The site is built so it can be expanded or adapted later as your business evolves, without major rebuilds. You'll find detailed costs by project type on our web design pricing page.

What a website costs: package prices and what they don't include

You get the price in writing before we start, and it doesn't change along the way as long as the deliverables stay as listed below.

  • Presentation website — 1,000 EUR, fixed price. Up to 6 pages, copywriting included.
  • Business website — 1,400 EUR, fixed price. Up to 8 pages, plus a blog section.
  • Online store — from 2,000 EUR. Catalog, cart, checkout, card payments, courier integration.

Final price. We're not VAT-registered, so no VAT is added to the invoice. The online store is the only package without a fixed price: it depends on the number of products and the integrations required, but you still get a written quote before we start. Any page beyond the package is also quoted before we start and isn't renegotiated along the way.

Already have a website and just want it to look different? A redesign using your existing content, with no new pages or features, is a separate project priced at 800 EUR. The terms are in our article on revamping an old website.

The fixed price holds only if the list of deliverables stays fixed. What's not included:

  • Presentation website: hosting and domain; theme and plugin licenses; copy beyond the 6 pages; photography; logo and visual identity; a second language; maintenance after the 3 months of included support; CRM, ERP, or booking system integrations.
  • Business website: pages beyond the 8 included; integrations with CRM, ERP, or newsletter platforms; bookings with online payment; a multilingual version; migrating an old website with more than 20 pages; writing blog articles; member areas.
  • Online store: product photography and descriptions; feeds to eMAG or Google Shopping; ERP integration or automated invoicing; the platform subscription if you choose Shopify; payment processor fees; performance hosting for large catalogs.

If you're comparing several quotes, ask each company three things: how many pages the price covers, what the seventh or ninth page costs, and who pays for hosting and licenses in year two. That's usually where the big differences between quotes come from, not the design. The full pricing, with every option and add-on, is in our detailed price list.

The cost over three years, not just at launch

The launch price is just one line item in the budget. Below is the full cost of a presentation website, at renewal rates, not first-year promotional prices.

CostYear 1Year 2Year 3Total

Total if you manage it yourself1.224,50224,50224,501.673,50

Maintenance is billed for 9 months in Year 1, because the first 3 months of support are included in the price. We based the figure on the standard package, 75 EUR per month; packages start at 50 EUR per month.

Two practical takeaways. The costs you can't avoid — hosting, domain, licenses — come to 224.50 EUR per year, or under 19 EUR per month. It's hard to go below that threshold, no matter who builds the site. Monthly maintenance is the only optional line item, and the biggest one over three years. You can take it over yourself after the 3 months of support, as long as you run updates and backups on time. What that involves in practice is covered in the article on maintaining a WordPress site.

Frequently asked questions about building a website

How much does it cost to build a website in 2026?

A presentation website costs 1,000 EUR, fixed price, for up to 6 pages. A business website with a blog and advanced forms costs 1,400 EUR, fixed price, for up to 8 pages. An online store starts at 2,000 EUR, depending on the catalog and integrations. The price includes custom design, copywriting for the pages in the package, on-page SEO, proper display on phones, and 3 months of support. Final price — we're not VAT-registered, so no VAT is added to the invoice.

How long does it take to build a professional website?

The timeline is 2-4 weeks from when we receive the materials — copy, images, logo, and domain access — for a presentation website or a business website. For an online store, the timeline is 4-6 weeks, depending on the number of products and integrations. While we're waiting on content or feedback from you, the clock pauses and resumes where it left off. We meet the deadlines set in the contract, with weekly progress updates.

What platforms do you use to build websites?

We build on WordPress and WooCommerce, Shopify, and Webflow. Our recommendation depends on your catalog, the integrations you need, and your recurring budget, not on any preference of ours. For projects with their own business logic — bookings, marketplaces, web apps — we go with custom development.

Can you build a website that shows up on the first page of Google?

Yes — every website built by ProjectMedia includes on-page SEO: optimized titles and meta descriptions, a clean URL structure, fast load times, schema markup, and structured content. Google rankings also depend on your competition, but we get the SEO foundations right from the start.

What happens after the website launches?

After launch, the site enters the 3-month support period included in the price: we fix any technical issues, make content adjustments, and monitor how the site is running. We also offer monthly maintenance packages and SEO services for continued growth.
