General information
The confidentiality of your personal data is one of the top concerns of Match Ball SRL, headquartered at Str. Martir Remus Tasala Nr.11, Timisoara, Timis, which acts as the data controller.
This document is intended to inform you about the processing of your personal data when you use the website www.projectmedia.ro.

Categories of personal data processed
II.1. If you are a customer of the Site, Match Ball SRL will process your personal data, such as first and last name, phone number, email address, billing address, shipping address, data on how you use the Site (for example, your behavior/preferences/habits in relation to Match Ball SRL), as well as any other categories of data you provide directly when creating a user account, when placing an order through the Site, or in any other way resulting from your use of the Site.

If you use your Facebook or Google account to create a user account on the Site, Match Ball SRL will process the following public profile data displayed by those applications: username and email address.

If you choose to create a user account only when you are about to complete an order for a product available on the Site, you will be asked for your email address, and an account will be created automatically based on it. If you do not complete the order, your email address and the other data provided will not be stored by Match Ball SRL, and the account created will be deleted automatically.

II.2. If you are a visitor to the Site, Match Ball SRL will process the personal data you provide directly while using the Site, such as the data you submit in the contact / questions / complaints section, if you contact us in this way.

III. Purposes and legal grounds for processing

III.1. If you are a customer of the Site, Match Ball SRL processes your personal data as follows:

– for carrying out the contractual relationship between you and Match Ball SRL, namely for receiving, validating, shipping and invoicing orders placed on the Site, informing you of the order status, arranging returns of ordered products, etc.

Legal basis: The processing of your data for this purpose is based on the contract between you and Match Ball SRL, as defined in the Terms and Conditions. Providing your personal data is necessary for the performance of this contract. Refusing to provide the data may make it impossible to carry out the contractual relationship between you and Match Ball SRL.

– for fulfilling the legal obligations incumbent on Match Ball SRL in connection with the services provided through the Site, including tax and archiving obligations.

Legal basis: The processing of your data for this purpose is necessary to comply with certain legal obligations. Providing your data for this purpose is mandatory. Refusing to provide the data may make it impossible for Match Ball SRL to comply with its legal obligations and, therefore, to offer you services through the Site.

– for marketing activities, namely for sending commercial communications about the products and services offered by Match Ball SRL through the Site, via remote communication channels (email, text message).

You can give your consent to the processing of your data for this purpose by checking the corresponding box when you create your account, or later, in the My account information section. To unsubscribe from such commercial communications, you can use the option at the end of each email/text message containing commercial communications. You can also unsubscribe by going to the My account information section.

Providing your data for this purpose is voluntary. Refusing to give your consent to the processing of your data for this purpose will have no negative consequences for you.

– to carry out various analyses and reports on how the Site functions and to build consumer preference profiles, mainly in order to improve the experience offered on the Site.
Legal basis: The processing of your data for this purpose is based on the legitimate interest of Match Ball SRL in continuously improving the client experience on the Site. Providing your data for this purpose is voluntary. Refusing to provide the data for this purpose will have no negative consequences for you.

III.2. If you are a visitor to the Site, Match Ball SRL processes your personal data as follows:

– for marketing activities, namely for sending commercial communications about the products and services offered by Match Ball SRL through the Site, via remote communication channels (email, text message).
Legal basis: The processing of your data for this purpose is based on your consent, if you choose to give it.

You can give your consent to the processing of your data for this purpose by completing the newsletter subscription form available on the Site and checking the corresponding box. To unsubscribe from such commercial communications, you can use the option at the end of each email/text message containing commercial communications.

Providing your data for this purpose is voluntary. Refusing to give your consent to the processing of your data for this purpose will have no negative consequences for you.

To resolve complaints and claims, and to monitor traffic and improve your experience on the Site.
Legal basis: The processing of your data for this purpose is based on the legitimate interest of Match Ball SRL in ensuring the proper functioning of the Site and in continuously improving the experience of Site visitors, including by addressing various comments, questions or complaints.

Providing your data for this purpose is voluntary. Refusing to provide your data for this purpose will have no negative consequences for you.

How long we process your data
As a general rule, Match Ball SRL will process your personal data for as long as necessary to achieve the processing purposes mentioned above.

If you are a client, we will process your data for the entire duration of the contractual relationship and afterward in accordance with the legal obligations incumbent on Match Ball SRL (for example, for financial and accounting supporting documents, which the law requires to be kept for 10 years from the end of the financial year in which they were drawn up).

If you are a client and choose to delete your user account by emailing office@projectmedia.ro, Match Ball SRL will treat this action as your choice to unsubscribe from the commercial communications through which we keep you informed about the products and services offered through the website. Accordingly, if you choose to delete your user account, we will no longer send you emails and/or text messages of this kind. However, please note that deleting your account will not automatically delete your personal data. If you no longer want your personal data to be processed, or if you want your data deleted, you can exercise the rights detailed in section VII below. If you request the deletion of your account but that account has at least one active order, the account deletion request can only be registered after the products have been delivered and the last active order has been completed.

If you withdraw your consent to the processing of your data for marketing purposes, Match Ball SRL will stop processing your personal data for this purpose, without affecting the processing carried out by Match Ball SRL based on the consent you gave before withdrawing it.

Disclosure of personal data
To fulfill the processing purposes, Match Ball SRL may disclose your data to partners, to third-party individuals or entities that support Match Ball SRL in carrying out its activity through the Site (for example, courier companies or IT service providers), or to central/local public authorities, in cases including, but not limited to, the following:

-for the administration of the Site;
where such disclosure is necessary to award prizes or other benefits to data subjects, obtained as a result of their participation in various promotional campaigns organized by Match Ball SRL through the Site;
-for maintaining, personalizing and improving the Site and the services provided through it;
-for data analysis, testing and research, monitoring usage and activity trends, developing security features and authenticating users;
-for sending marketing communications, under the conditions and within the limits provided by law;
when the disclosure of personal data is required by law, etc.

Transfer of personal data
Personal data provided to Match Ball SRL will not be transferred outside Romania.

VII. Your rights

Under the conditions set out in personal data protection legislation, as data subjects you have the following rights:

-the right to be informed, namely the right to receive details about the processing activities carried out by Match Ball SRL, as described in this document;
-the right of access to data, namely the right to obtain confirmation from Match Ball SRL as to whether personal data is being processed, as well as details about the processing activities, such as how the data is processed, the purpose of the processing, the recipients or categories of recipients of the data, etc.;
-the right to rectification, namely the right to obtain from Match Ball SRL, without undue delay, the correction of inaccurate/unjustified personal data, as well as the completion of incomplete data. The rectification/completion will be communicated to each recipient to whom the data was disclosed, unless this proves impossible or involves disproportionate effort.
-the right to erasure of data, without undue delay (“the right to be forgotten”), where one of the following grounds applies:
the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or processed;
consent is withdrawn and there is no other legal ground for the processing;
the data subject objects to the processing and there are no overriding legitimate grounds;
the personal data has been unlawfully processed;
the personal data must be erased to comply with a legal obligation;
the personal data has been collected in connection with the offer of information society services under EU law or the national law to which the controller is subject.
Following a request for erasure, Match Ball SRL may anonymize the data (thereby removing its personal character) and continue processing it under these conditions for statistical purposes;

-the right to restriction of processing, where:
the data subject contests the accuracy of the data, for a period enabling us to verify its accuracy;
the processing is unlawful and the data subject opposes the erasure of the personal data, requesting the restriction of its use instead;
the controller no longer needs the personal data for the purposes of the processing, but the data subject requires it for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims; or
the data subject has objected to the processing (other than for direct marketing), pending verification of whether the legitimate grounds of the controller override those of the data subject.
-the right to data portability, namely (i) the right to receive personal data in a structured, commonly used and easily readable format, and (ii) the right to have this data transmitted by Match Ball SRL to another data controller, insofar as the conditions set out by law are met;
-the right to object – with regard to processing activities, this right can be exercised by submitting a request as indicated below;
at any time, on grounds relating to the particular situation of the data subject, to the processing of data concerning them based on the legitimate interest of Match Ball SRL or on the public interest, unless Match Ball SRL can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override the interests, rights and freedoms of the data subjects, or the purpose is the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims;
at any time, free of charge and without any justification, to the processing of data concerning them for direct marketing purposes.
the right not to be subject to an automated individual decision, namely the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, which produces legal effects concerning the data subject or similarly significantly affects them;
the right to file a complaint with the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing or to bring an action before the competent courts, if you consider it necessary.
