Website built with AI or by an agency? How to choose in 2026

Short answer:
An AI generator is enough for a campaign page or for validating an idea. For a website that has to bring customers from Google — with a structure built on your services, integrations and checked content — you need a team. The price difference: 99 EUR for a page generated with LeadSpark, from 1,000 EUR for a presentation website built by us.
What an AI generator does well
- It gives you a complete page in minutes, from a few sentences about your business.
- It costs little or nothing until you publish.
- The starting structure is decent: headline, services, benefits, form, frequently asked questions.
- The page is responsive from the start and publishes quickly, including on your own domain.
- You can test a message or an offer without locking up budget.
Where the generator stops
- It does not know how you sell. Prices, customer objections, the reasons someone chooses your company — those come from a conversation, not from a prompt.
- The texts are generic. It shows both to customers and in Google: the same phrasing appears on hundreds of pages in the same industry.
- A structure across several pages. A website has a hierarchy, internal links and pages that must not cannibalize each other.
- The integrations. Payments, couriers, invoicing, appointments, forms that arrive where they should — these are configured and tested.
- Migrating an existing site. If you already have positions in Google, moving without correct redirects loses them.
- What comes after launch. New content, speed, checks, corrections — a generator does not take that over.
What Google says about content made with AI
Google says it judges how useful the content is, not the tool it was produced with. What it explicitly penalizes is content generated at scale, published only to catch keywords. In practice: 30 pages generated from the same template, with a different city or industry in the title, bring no traffic — they bring risk.
We went through this ourselves. In September 2026 we merged 42 thin pages on our own site and redirected them to the main pages: they brought no visitors, but they split authority between dozens of near-identical addresses.
How to choose, in short
| Your situation | What you choose | Price | Time |
|---|---|---|---|
| You want to test an idea or run a campaign | LeadSpark | 99 EUR, one time | a few hours |
| A services company, up to 6 pages | Presentation website | 1,000 EUR, fixed price | 2-4 weeks |
| Several services, a blog, local SEO | Business website | 1,600 EUR, fixed price | 2-4 weeks |
| Selling online, payments and couriers | Online store | from 2,000 EUR | 4-6 weeks |
You can start small, without losing anything
A LeadSpark page is published on your domain, with SSL, and the files can be downloaded. When the business needs more — more services, a blog, a store — the page stays as a campaign landing page, and the main website is built separately. You lose nothing from the initial investment.

Frequently asked questions
Can I run ads on a page generated with AI?
Yes, this is exactly the case where a generator does its job: you need a clear message, a form and a phone number. What matters is measuring what happens after the click.
Does Google penalize websites built with AI?
Not because they were built with AI. It penalizes content generated at scale, with no value for the reader. A useful, checked page gets indexed normally.
Can I move the page to my own domain later?
Yes. Publishing can be done directly on your domain, with SSL included, and the static archive can be downloaded at any time.
What costs do I have after launch?
The fixed annual costs (domain, hosting, certificate) are 224.50 EUR. Maintenance, if you want it, costs 50, 100 or 150 EUR per month, depending on the package.
