The Product
We created the iWake online store, specializing in the sale of wakeboarding, water skiing, wakesurfing, stand-up paddling equipment, and related accessories. iWake offers customers the opportunity to purchase high-quality equipment and accessories to enhance their experience in water sports. The website was developed to facilitate online shopping, offering card payment options, fast courier delivery, and automatic invoice generation through the SmartBill platform.

The Challenge
iWake aimed to provide customers with a convenient way to purchase water sports equipment and accessories, eliminating barriers related to distance and time. They sought to create a simple and secure online shopping experience.

In this project, we played the roles of Designer and UX Developer. Our responsibilities included:

User Research
To develop an efficient online store, we conducted research to understand the needs and preferences of customers interested in water sports. We collected information about:

iWake’s target audience consisted of water sports enthusiasts, both amateurs and professionals, looking for quality equipment and accessories.
Pain Points
The main issue users faced was difficulty in finding suitable equipment and making purchases without visiting a physical store.
UX Design and Development
We developed an online store with the following features:
- Detailed Product Listings: Dedicated pages for each product, including images, comprehensive descriptions, and technical information.
- Shopping Cart and Streamlined Payment Process: Functionality for adding products to the cart, order management, and secure card payment options.
- Automatic Invoice Generation: Invoices generated automatically for each order through integration with SmartBill.
- Customer Reviews and Ratings: A section for product reviews and ratings to assist customers in their decision-making process.
- Instructional Videos: Addition of video resources to help users learn about the correct usage of equipment.
Impact
